'a lavish modern noir'  Independent

'del Toro's morality tale issues bracing hits of style and cynicism, with Blanchett drawing blood' ★★★★Total Film

'A gorgeous, fantastically sinister moral fable about the cruel predictability of human nature'  ★★★★Variety
